Engineering team member.  Responsibilities include assisting project and manufacturing engineers with equipment relocation, measuring, utility location for existing area and future area of plant.  Equipment that was moved include CNC’s, Lathes, Welding stations, Assembly equipment, Chemical Tanks/Piping/Valves, Furnaces’, Conveyors, Cranes, Electrical Cabinets etc.  Attended planning meetings as well.  All drawings created in plan view on plant layout using AutoCAD 2014.  Disciplines include electrical, gas, mechanical, piping and architectural.

Engineering Technician - (contract position)

Design engineering team member for underground gas main piping utility installation construction projects.  Responsibilities include importing data into AutoCAD and creating drawing plans for construction. All drawings created in plan view and 2D.  Roadway right of way locations, center line locations, pipe dimensions, valve/fitting locations, vault locations etc. were shown on drawings.  Used GIS software to locate and verify information and data.  All drawing packages created using AutoCAD Map 2014.

Senior Designer - (contract position)

Mechanical/Electrical Project team member on large capital demo and construction project for well known food processing facility.  Responsibilities included initial site walk down to verify existing floor drains, sinks and other plumbing utilities. Also verification of undergound facilty piping to drains etc. using existing construction drawings.  Further responsibilities were to create or modify AutoCAD layout drawings showing these existing utilities and drains as well as proposed locations in plan and some elevation views.  Electrical responsibilities include creating and modifying AutoCAD layout drawings for electrical control panels throughout the facility.  Plan view drawings would show existing and proposed control panel locations and specs.  Elevations drawings would show proposed elevation views etc for new control panels or modifications for existing panels.  Used AutoCAD 2012.

Responsible for assisting engineers with red line mark-up revisions or initial creation of electrical and mechanical drawings through all project phases for ComEd substation equipment upgrade projects.  Project submittal packages consisted of panel layouts, wiring diagrams, conduit plans, control panels, one line diagrams, mechanical details, equipment rack details, BOM's, conduit cable list and equipment schedules.  Also created equipment detail drawings to scale when manufacturer cut sheets were unavailable in AutoCAD as well as coverting objects from raster to AutoCAD.  Used AutoCAD 2012 and Raster Design.
